Difference Between Vacuum Furnace Chiller and Vacuum Brazing Chillers

  • The furnace has to be constantly managed to ensure that there’s no damage due to inconsistencies. If the cooling is not kept smooth, then the furnace may shut down due to the water temperature rising too high.

Vacuum Brazing Chiller

Vacuum brazing is a system that allows you to join metal or ceramic components using alternate materials with lower melting points. The filler metal is melted and used to join the metals without causing any damage to the two metals or ceramics that you are trying to join. This method allows you to form a strong bond, cheaply, and without any risk to waste.

Advantages

  • The production costs of vacuum brazing equipment are much cheaper than other materials, as there is a lot less waste and cleanup in the process of manufacturing it.
  • Producing via vacuum brazing also avoids any form of pollution, due to the fact that there is no metal flux used in the process.
  • Vacuum brazing furnaces also have a lot fewer maintenance concerns, as the internal structure of the furnace has a long life span.

Disadvantages

  • While you might be saving money on production, it can be expensive to invest in the furnace itself; making the costs much more upfront.
  • When the lifespan of the internal structure is reaching its end, it can be a lot of effort to fix and maintain what has broken.
  • Continuous use requires a lot of interference, and will not be simple to keep constant operation.
