5 Classy Corporate Party Themes

Corporate parties can be a lot of fun, but they can also be a little bit daunting to plan. There are so many things to consider! What kind of atmosphere do you want to create? What kind of food and drink will you serve? What venue is best for you? And, most importantly, what theme will you choose?

If you’re stuck for ideas, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. Here are five of our favorite corporate party themes to get you started:

1. Roaring 20s

Step back in time to the era of prohibition and speakeasies with a roaring 20s themed corporate party. This is also very popular under the theme “The Great Gatsby”, which can easily be incorporated into your decor and menu planning. Serve up some classic cocktails like martinis and negroni’s, and don’t forget the jazz.

Encourage your employees to dress up in their best flapper or gangster attire and get ready to party like it’s 1929!

2. Hollywood Glam

Treat your employees like Hollywood royalty with a glamorous corporate party. Set up a red carpet for them to walk down as they arrive, then serve up delicious canapés and champagne.

It’s a perfect spin on a themed Halloween party – it doesn’t need to be October to dress up as your favorite Hollywood star. There are loads of great photo opportunities here, so make sure you have a professional photographer on hand to capture all the memories.

You could even hire a celebrity look-alike to mingle with guests!

3. Casino Night

Bring the excitement of Las Vegas to your corporate party with a casino night theme. Set up blackjack, poker and roulette tables and let your employees try their hand at winning big. This theme is great for encouraging team building, as employees will need to work together to win.

As well as being a lot of fun, casino nights are also very stylish. Think low lighting, cocktails and plenty of glitz and glamour.

Just make sure you don’t gamble away the company budget!

4. Around the World

Take your employees on a trip around the world without even leaving the office! Set up different areas representing different countries and serve traditional cuisine from each one. You could even have employees dress up in traditional clothing from their favorite country.

This is more of an educational spin, but it can still be a lot of fun. Set up some trivia quizzes and have prizes for the winners. It’s a great way to encourage employees to learn more about other cultures.

5. Beach Party

Get your employees out of the office and into the sun with a beach party theme! Set up a pool, hire some surfboards and serve refreshing cocktails. Just make sure you provide plenty of sunscreen!
